Against the backdrop of the medium- and long-term strategy planning of China’s climate governance, the report analyzes the necessity of designing the country’s carbon pricing system from the top level, the priorities of such a system, and its economic impacts.

During 2018–2019, Energy Foundation China supported Planet-Data Inc. to investigate temporal and spatial distribution of PM2.5 in Jinan, the capital city of eastern Chinese province Shandong that has suffered smog episodes.
