China Establishes Energy Efficiency Endorsement Labels for Color TVs

The Energy Foundation funded the China Certification Center for Energy Conservation Products (CECP) and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to work on standby power endorsement labels over a two-year period (U.S. $140,000 per year).
Now that it has completed the TV endorsement label, CECP will work on completing endorsement labels for another three products by the end of 2003.
