In order to implement the amended Renewable Energy Law and achieve the 15% non-fossil fuel target by 2020, CSEP grantee CRED has been assisting the government in the design of a renewable energy quota system. The National Energy Administration hosted a workshop on December 11th to solicit comments from key government agencies and enterprises on the draft RE Quota System management methods. CSEP's BPN experts Ryan Wiser and Ole Langniss participated in the workshop and introduced RPS experience in the U.S. and Europe and their implications for China.
