In September 2022, with the support of Energy Foundation China, CCID Consulting released this report about China’s new power system that will move toward carbon neutrality with the help of digital technology. Focused on how digital technology can help build a new power system for China, the report discusses what the main challenges are faced by China’s power system from the aspects of electricity generation, grid, charging, power storage, and their integration, before it identifies where digital technology can be best applied, as well as how digital technology can be improved to better integrate into the power system. The report looks ahead to the future and pictures a power system that will put China onto the trajectory of carbon neutrality.
