In March 2022, with support from Energy Foundation China, the Ecology Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences released this report analyzing the province’s green development strategy and pathway for the 14th Five-Year Plan period of 2021–2025. Shandong is is one of China’s manufacturing powerhouses.
The report estimates the current level of green development in the province, identifies the bottlenecks, and proposes the main goals and action plans for the next five years. The authors hope the research can provide scientific analysis for Shandong’s overall green transition.
