Development Strategy and Roadmap of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in China (2021–2035)

In May 2021, the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University released this 2035 roadmap report for China’s charging infrastructure, with support from Energy Foundation China.
After a comprehensive review of its development in China during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016–2020), the report predicts the future of charging infrastructure in terms as development trends, strategic goals, and implementation pathways for the next five years and toward 2035, providing scientific analysis as policymakers draft China’s short- and medium-term plans for charging infrastructure.
