In November 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the China General Certification Center published this report studying how offshore wind power farms should be developed in China.

Offshore wind farms are in the initial stage of cluster development in the country. Taking the Shantou International Wind Power Innovation Port, which is under construction, as an example, the report analyzes policies in China and other countries for large offshore wind farms, and then summarizes their development pathways based on a scenario analysis. The report also puts forward targeted suggestions, built on its findings.

The authors of the report hope it can provides insights for the high-quality development of offshore wind power for China and other countries.
