In June 2024, supported by Energy Foundation China, the Shanxi Coshare Innovation Institute of Energy and Environment released the "Climate Communication Toolkit for the Conservation and Utilization of Cultural Heritages under Global Climate Change."

The toolkit introduces the background of the issue, the current state of communication, provides a detailed analysis of the characteristics of communication targets, offers practical communication suggestions, showcases outstanding cases of climate change and cultural heritage conservation worldwide, and includes a series of practical communication tools.

The toolkit aims to establish new connection points between climate change communication and the public through the angle of "climate change + cultural heritage conservation and utilization"; enhance the capacity of climate communicators in Shanxi Province to construct relevant narratives, promote the transformation of Shanxi Province from coal mining to cultural value excavation, and achieve coordinated development of environmental protection and the cultural tourism industry.
