In September 2022, China Green Industry Co., Ltd. published this report presenting a co-control strategy for carbon and air pollutants in Yanqing, a mountainous district in northwestern Beijing. The report was supported by Energy Foundation China, coordinated by China Green Enterprise Co., Ltd., and written by China Quality Certification Center.

Through forecasts by the Long-Range Energy Alternatives Planning model, the report proposes a pathway toward carbon neutrality for the district and identifies corresponding action plans and key projects. The report also estimates the synergistic effects of air pollution mitigation under the carbon neutrality scenario.

The authors hope this research report can help provide scientific evidence as Yanqing implements its carbon goals and improves its air quality.
