In March 2019, the China International Engineering Consulting Company released this report with support from Energy Foundation China. Starting from reviewing the current situation of shallow geothermal development in China, the project analyzes how to accelerate the process to replace coal use and puts forward viable technical specifications and innovative business models. It lays a solid foundation for a future national standard for the geothermal energy.
