Senior Program Director, Low Carbon Cities

Dr. Zhigao Wang is the Senior Program Director of the Low Carbon Cities Program, which is to assist Chinese cities in establishing low carbon development pathways toward early carbon peaking and neutrality. Previously, he was the Director of Transport Planning at China Sustainable Transportation Center (CSTC), where he supervised and participated in projects in low carbon urban development demonstration, policy, and training. Prior to joining CSTC, Dr. Wang was a Transport Planner in TranSystems Corporation’s Boston office.

Dr. Wang has a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
