Program Officer, Low Carbon Cities Program

Ms. Yue Wang is an Officer of Energy Foundation China’s Low Carbon Cities Program. Through optimized urban spatial planning, intensive land use, and other solutions, she is committed to creating a lower carbon and more livable urban environment and a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle that contribute to China’s carbon neutrality goal.

Prior to joining Energy Foundation China in April 2022, Ms. Wang was the urban planning department manager at China Sustainable Transportation Center. She has spent more than ten years in the fields of spatial planning, low carbon transportation, transit-oriented development, urban renewal, and livable neighborhoods. Ms. Wang is a certified Urban and Rural Planner and a licensed Senior Engineer in China’s professional qualification system.

Ms. Wang holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University, both in Architecture.
