Program Associate, Strategic Communications

Ms. Yaoyao Ma is a Program Associate of Energy Foundation China’s Strategic Communications Program, supporting the program’s strategy-making, fundraising, grants management, and partnership. Prior to joining the foundation in January 2023, she was a Gender Equality and Youth Engagement Associate in the partnership team of the China Office of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women for a year, as a participant of the United Nations Volunteers program. She also has various internship experiences with media outlets, international organization, and the private sector.

Ms. Ma holds a Master of Arts degree in International Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from Tsinghua University.
