Senior Program Associate, Transportation

Ms. Xuefei Sun is a Senior Program Associate of Energy Foundation China’s Transportation Program, supporting strategy development, funder relations, grant and project management, and logistics.

After joining the foundation in April 2021, she spent one and a half years on corporate communications and capacity building projects. Before that, Xuefei stayed at the media and communications division of the International Organization for Migration (UN-Migration) in Geneva for more than two years. She started there as an intern and eventually became a project officer, focusing on project management, corporate communications, event planning, and internal coordination. Xuefei also had internship experiences with Chinese media, including at Caixin Media and huanqiu.com, where she supported in researching stories and writing the news on international relations.

Ms. Sun holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto in Canada, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Organizations from the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing.
