Senior Program Officer, Strategic Communications

Wei Wang has been Energy Foundation China’s Senior Program Officer of Strategic Communications since July 2023. She is in charge of the foundation’s brand management, media relations, website, WeChat account, as well as media monitoring and crisis management. Prior to joining the foundation in August 2016, Wei Wang worked for China Central Television as feature director, news reporter, and editor. She also worked as Project Manager at the Center for Environmental Education and Communications of China’s then Ministry of Environmental Protection, where she managed communications projects in various areas of environmental protection. Wei Wang holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Communication University of China, and a Bachelor’s degree from Foreign Affairs University.
