Senior Program Officer, Strategic Communications

Wei Huang is the Senior Program Officer, Strategic Communications. She has years of working experience in climate and energy campaigns, sustainable community development, narrative building, and related public communications. Prior to joining Energy Foundation China in July 2016, she worked for the Institute for Sustainable Communities China office as the Communications Manager, overseeing program communications, media relations, and partner communication capacity building. She also spent four years at Greenpeace as a Climate and Energy campaigner and media officer, where she was the lead campaigner and spokesperson of the Coal and Air Pollution campaign. Wei Huang graduated from Lund University, Sweden, with a master’s degree in Media Production.
