Sha FU
Director, Strategy and Planning
Ms. Sha Fu is the Director of the Strategy and Planning section of Energy Foundation China, where she leads strategy development and budget management. She also proposes research agenda; designs and operates the foundation’s research, modeling, data, and information platform; synthesizes knowledge; incubates new project concepts; and provides strategic advices.
Prior to joining EF China in April 2019, she was an Associate Professor at China’s National Center for Climate Change and International Cooperation. Her interests lie in international climate regime, energy-economy-environment-climate system modeling and analysis, climate and energy data mining and analysis, national and local strategy design for energy and GHG emission mitigation, assessment of socio-economic impact of climate polices, and low carbon development and green finance in “Belt and Road” countries.
Ms. Fu holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Economics, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Management, all from Renmin University in Beijing.
