Legal Counsel

As the Legal Counsel of Energy Foundation China, Ms. Zhu Qiying prepares a wide range of legal documents, and provides legal and compliance support for the foundation’s operations and programmatic work. Prior to joining Energy Foundation China in June 2024, she provided legal consulting services to clients in technology, finance and charitable sectors. Additionally, she served as an in-house counsel for companies specializing in private equity and cross-border investments, where she developed expertise in due diligence, risk management, legal research and compliance.

Ms. Zhu holds a Juris Doctor degree from University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. She is a member of the New York State Bar and also holds the PRC Bar Qualification.
