Finance Director

Mr. Peter Kodzis is the Finance Director, leading Energy Foundation China’s Finance functions in the United States. In partnership with the Beijing Finance team, he plays a critical role in ensuring proper processes, reporting, compliance, quality control, and data management across finance. He also provides required finance and accounting expertise to meet the highest standards of compliance with U.S. tax regulations and donor requirements.

Previously, Mr. Kodzis had worked as the Chief Financial Officer of San Francisco Housing Development Corporation, where he managed financial, accounting, and risk management operations for the non-profit real estate development company. Prior to this role, he worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Grid Alternatives, an international solar energy non-profit corporation, where he provided strategic planning input and financial leadership.

Mr. Kodzis earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Executive Management Program) from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Master’s degree in Marine Transportation from Gdynia Maritime University, Poland.
