The resulting report was released in June 2019.

In July 2019, the World Resources Institute released this report with support from Energy Foundation China. Researchers analyzed latest water price policies and regulations in China, and summarized international experience on imposing and enforcing water price and water resources fee/tax, in hopes of making well-balanced policy recommendations to China.

With support from Energy Foundation China, this guide was completed by a joint team that includes the China Sustainable Transportation Center, the World Resources Institute, the Innovative Green Development Program, the School of Environment at Tsinghua University, and the Beijing Transport Institute.

With support from Energy Foundation China, the Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) led a joint research team from seven international and domestic research institutions to conduct this research and released the Shenzhen Case Study report in August 2019.

The Intervention of Low Carbon Consumption by Communications in China by 2030 and 2050
By identifying the main areas of low carbon consumption in the future, the report studies the structural changes in consumption in China and its influencing factors. Combined with China’s medium- and long-term development goals, the report predicts what low carbon consumption might be like in 2030 and 2050 and how consumer preference would change over time.
