Program Officer, Industry Program

Mr. Tan Zheng is a Program Officer of the Industry Program. He supports the Project Director in strategy development, grants management, and fundraising. Prior to joining Energy Foundation China in November 2022, he stayed at the German Fichtner engineering consulting company, the Swiss-headquartered TOP10 China energy efficiency competence center, and the Resources and Environment Branch of China National Institute of Standardization. Since 2010, he has been committed to topics such as energy conservation and emissions reductions standardization, sustainable consumption and production, and energy efficiency improvement of end-use equipment and industrial energy-using systems. He has managed and implemented a number of international cooperation and development projects in the area of energy efficiency and low carbon energy transition.

Mr. Zheng holds a Master of Science degree in Media Informatics from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
